Won't be able to listen live tomorrow...but a few random questions that popped into my head, not sure if they have been addressed before! Do you set yearly reading goals? Outside of reading for the podcast, are there other genres of books you enjoy reading? Did you receive any book-related gifts for the holidays that will make reading more enjoyable in 2026?
Hi hi! I'll be listening to the recording because I'll be at a 9 year old's birthday party 😭. Here's my question: If you could send a care package to your favorite character from any of the books covered in the podcast during their lowest point, what three items would you put in it?
Are there any updates you can share about the Fantasy Fan Fellas podcast after the final Mistborn episode is released? Will they start a different book in January? Or a different format? I've really enjoyed Hayden and Steven's banter and reading a book that was a little out of my comfort zone. (I'm hooked by the way and have started Well of Ascension!)
Fall means a classic Gilmore Girls re-watch for those early aughts small town autumnal cozy vibes; but, in 2025, some elements of the show, storylines, and characters don't age very well. If you redesigned Gilmore Girls for the present day, what would you change, and what elements would have to stay the same?
The general idea is has doing deep dives given you a greater appreciation for reading other books and maybe even other genres or do you only see the connections/tropes/theories and pitfalls of the storytelling?
Was there a moment when yall were like wait we could do this full time? And how scary was it to actually make the leap. I don’t have any ambitions to quit my job (or something I do that would allow me to do that lol) but I’m always curious on how it works for people who don’t have a traditional 9-5/corporate America job and how they make the leap to do it.
